Prof Sreyashi Jhumki Basu (1977 - 2008)
A Beacon for Social Justice in Science Education
|
"What if we lived in a world where everyone was
scientifically literate?
"What if we lived in a world where all kids had
access to a high-quality science education?
"And what if that education was fun and deeply
engaging, and also served as an opportunity for
students to transform their own lives, the lives of
their communities and our world?"
This is what Jhumki set out to do, and this is the
work of her Foundation.
